would be hilarious if bears did not make playoffs...chances are slim and none though!

The team would have to get lost somewhere for the next two weeks and forfeit both games. Mark it down, the Bears are as good as in.

Bears are as good as in and they have the inside track and control on a first-round bye.

3 things that needed to happen happened. Bucs win, skins win, Panthers win. only 19 NFL games to go Bears not IN yet.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that with 1 win in either of the final 2 games the Bears not only make the playoffs but clinch the #2 seed and a first round bye. Is that correct? Only teams that can get to 11 wins are Tampa and Carolina, who the Bears have both beaten, and the Giants. I believe the next tiebreaker is divison record; Bears 4-0, Giants 4-2 so Bears win that.

So if the Bears win tomorrow they will have NOTHING to play for against Minny. I think that's right.

It's conference record for that D2, not division...division comes into play within the division so they better win tomorrow or next week will mean the North title (HOPEFULLY)!!!!!!!!!!

Do the Vikings have anything to play for if they lose tonight?

If the Bears win today, doubt they will rest many players. They might open the offense up more to get Grossman ready for the playoffs.

Vikes need to win their last 2 to get in playoffs and have the following happen

For the Vikes to win the division
they will need the Bears to lose today against the Packers and then beat the Bears next week and the vikes would win division

For Vikes to be wildcard need to win last 2 games
they need the Giants and the Cowboys to lose and washinton win
and they would get wildcard berth based on conf record then Dallas and Giants since Washington would win the East. Dallas would be elimanted on conf record minny and giants would have same and minny beat giants in regular season.
