LA continues to gobble up players...Kenny Lofton the latest...for a team that had such a good season in 2004, this team looks quite different now.

Lofton working on team #10, great career none the less....still think of him with Cleveland most of all.

start reading up on your teams. the dodgers are rediculously loaded in the minors. these are "stop-gap" players - riding the lineup while the young players turn 22. so far, so good.

I bleed Dodger Blue but I can tell you that this new ownership has me doubtful about every move they make. We heard Edwin Jackson was the real deal but then where is the proof?

Lately everything the Dodgers touch turns to crap. I have studied the minors and do see what looks like talent but I'm fearful that the ownership will trade away the goods. McCourt is running the franchise into the ground. He's cash poor and more worried about putting a good spin on the team than he is about developing young talent.

We'll see...

I have my doubts about LA too. They wasted money on Mueller who is a solid player and all but they had a youngster in Aybar who I feel CAN play and did very well at the end of last year. Lofton? Not even a REAL centerfielder anymore. Dodger defense will have gone from great to below average in two years. Hope they hit enough. If healthy they probably will.
