Hello - Ever by something on eBay, pay straight away and the seller denied the collection of the money. What could of been behind the transaction?

Replies would be appreciated. Thanks.

Did you pay with Paypal? Maybe the seller doesn't accept Paypal?

Yes via Paypal. The user stated that this was the only type of payment. It left me with my mouth opened. Strange.

Thanks,

Sorry Mod's. You can delete this thread if you like.

-----------------------------------------------------

Below is the email I received from the seller.

****,
I accepted the payment, I don't know what happened there, I'm not sure how to reverse the refusal or even if it can be done, if you would like to try again I will accept it, I had to upgrade my account on paypal at the time of acceptance and wonder if that was the cause, sorry for any inconvenience.

My apologies

****

I sell on ebay. In the future, if you have a problem, go to ebay's Community - Discussion Boards - Buyer Central or Seller Central. It like the Forum here. There will be a gazillion people with knowledgable help and advice.

It's probably that your shipping it to an un-confirmed address or that you do not have a confirmed address. Without this, the seller is not indemnified.
