The Cardinals signed Ponson to a one year deal.

This is great news for Leonard Little, he now has someone to go out drinking with!:toast: They can see who can get the most DUI's in Missouri.

As a Cardinal Fan, I hate this move. Cards mgmt once again looking for cheap way out and putting their newfound wealth in their pockets. Cubs fans ought to be licking their chops over what Astros and Cards have failed to do this offseason.

I'm a Cubs fan and while I certainly like to see these two teams spinning their wheels, for the Cubs it all comes back to the health and ability of Prior and Wood, which are both suspect at this point. I think the Cubs can leapfrog the Astros this year but probably still be stuck behind the Cards.

He lost his fastball, its more than finding himself mentally, the guy is a mental midget!

Fresh out of jail and sporting a new dark brown hairdo, we in Baltimore are glad he's gone....Not sure any pro athlete has ever been less appreciative of what he was given, than this bozo.

He had one great half season (14-6 3.77 era), the rest of his career 8 of 9 years he's been an under .500 pitcher.
