A death investigation is under way, and the spokesperson said that the county medical examiner's office or the hospital at which James Dungy was pronounced dead would have a ruling on the cause of death.
James Dungy officially was pronounced dead this morning at University Community Hospital in Tampa.
Tony Dungy has left the Colts and is in Tampa. Indianapolis plays at Seattle this Saturday.

The first deputy on scene performed CPR on Dungy until Hillsborough County Fire Rescue arrived and transported him to University Community Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The cause of death is pending autopsy by the Hillsborough County Medical Examiners Office.

well they(whoever they is) do say that this is the time of the year where suicides skyrocket from depression and what not. Alot of things could factor in IF it was indeed suicide...gf, family, etc...

unfortunately...drugs is the first thing that comes to mind in an instance like this to me as well...
