My GRADING System

A+ = I personally recorded this game in SP speed and is a very good copy. Also a DVD master recording would be an A+
A = I personally recorded the game and is a master copy. Could of possibly been recorded on a sub par vcr but is still a master.
A- = Can be a good master copy or I also get SP copies from other people’s masters. Also, a lot of older tapes that were recorded as masters would follow under this grade.
B+ = Very good copy. Somebody else’s copy from a good recording. Very watch able but also can be aged.
B = Starting to show affects from an analog signal. Still very watch able and enjoyable but you can start too see it’s age.
B- = This would be the final grade of a enjoyable game to watch. Many older games fall under this category. A lot of EP dubbed copies can fall under this grade as well.
C+ = Still a watch able game but could have tracking problems or certainly color issues.
C = Starting to get bad and almost to the point where it’s not enjoyable to watch the game. You can still see the game without squinting too much but the colors of analog reception and multiple generation copies are showing their affects.
C- = The final grade that I would consider still watchable under any circumstance. This grade you would only want if you just wanted to collect the game and didn’t really want to watch it much but just to know you have it.
D+ or below = I would not recommend any of these grades as they are difficult to watch cause of multiple generation copies.
