Boston 8-1 :lolBIG: and Toronto 30-1:lolBIG:

You can make a real strong case that Toronto is the better team.

Vegas futures are horrendous....better value offshore at Pinny, and Olympic to name a few. Imo, offshore is the only place you get true value for your money when it comes to betting the futures market compared to Vegas.

No, you can't. Don't delude yourself. Toronto are exactly as shit as always. If I go on that line up I'd be their best hitter.

So who will be shutting down teams for the NYY in Sept and Oct?

White Sox, St louis, Cleveland and Oakland are better teams, maybe even the NYM ..to hell with the Yankees.

the Red Sox will be lucky to win 87 games...

When was the last time the Yankees didn't BUY their World Series Championship?

answer - over 40 years ago.

I realize LV odds suck compared to offshore. But the best value I see on the board right now is Toronto. The worst value is Boston

Here are my top 5 best and worst values

Best

1)Toronto 30-1
2)Whitesox 10-1
3)Dodgers 30-1
4)Brewers 60-1
5)cleveland 14-1

worst

1)Boston 6 to 1
2)Houston 20 to 1
3)Cubs 15 to 1
4)Yankees 4 to 1

I'd much rather be a Toronto fan right now then a Boston fan at the moment seeing there team get blown up to bits.

I will take my chances with Haladay, Burnett and Towers over the boston crew anyday.

Must I remind you that you just lost the best leadoff hitter in the game the other day to your arch rival?

The fact that they lost Damon makes the Sox worse off, but the fact that they lost him to their arch rival does not make them a worse team. Damon is still in the AL East, which is just as bad for Toronto as it is for Boston.

That didn't read clearly. What I'm saying is - Boston would be the same team whether Damon went to the NL or to their arch rival (the Yanks). The fact that he stayed in the division hurts their playoff chances, sure, but it hurts Toronto's also.

Haven't the Yankees been the preseason "favorite" each of the past 5 seasons as well?

SF 20-1 for me.

If Bonds and Alou are healthy they might have the best offense in the National League. Throw in a healthy Schmidt, Morris, and Lowry as their top 3 starters with a GREAT bullpen and they will make some noise.

Yes, the odds on Colorado are missing some zeros.

Worst is STL 6-1. They missed their chances. Don't think they will be that good next season. Sidney Ponson??? :pucking:
