That sentence should just about sum up Michael Vick as an NFL qb...He's a media hyped athlete, playing an NFL qb on TV..

The criticism doenst match the play....

The only legit target Vick has had his entire career is Crumpler. He's had horrible receivers the whole time hes been there....

I really dont know what else they expect.

I disagree. Peerless Price was an outstanding reciever before he came over to Atlanta.

If he was so outstanding then why did the Cowboys cut his ass in the middle of the playoff race. He could've even create a job for himself as a punt/kick returner. Price success was tied to shall I say, two words: Eric Moulds!

If outstanding describes a receiver like Price, Id hate to find out what you think of someone like Jerry Rice....

Price was a joke. If you think that he was an "outstanding" receiver before coming to play with Vick, what happened to his outstanding skill since? Did Vick permanently taint him with "anti-outstanding potion" so that no matter who he played with after Vick, he'd always be in his Atlanta form? :lolBIG:

Vick is definitely overhyped by the media, but to give the guy the credit he deserves, he is playing with crap for receivers (although they have been getting some good young guys recently via draft so the WR corps should improve soon) and he's being forced to mold to a system that doesn't fit his natural ability.

Give the guy a few years to adapt to the west coast offense...he seems to play well when the occasion calls for it; he's 10-14 with 2 TDs by halftime today, that's probably the best QB performance so far this week!

The guy is an amazing athlete, there's no denying that. He just needs to improve his accuracy and reading ability in the WCO

All he needs to do is say Fuck the World and play week in and out as he does (obviously attempting to avoid tackles on plays where 1 yard doesnt mean a crap). He is just about unstoppable when he breaks out into the open, that is who he is.

Who cares if the QB position was designed for someone to pass the ball, let the guy be who he is. Of course thats a tough job with everyone bitching at him throughout his entire career because he likes to run.

I presume those of you that like vick have never watched him throw a pass in the NFL. I don't think vick could even spell the word T-O-U-C-H
