The chances of going deep into January dropped dramatically for the Bengals, losing to the Bills...they will now be playing in the Wild Card game, and have to play on the road after that, huge swing! Terrible terrible loss.

:pucking: Buffalo?

this was their first bad game of the year. this will just give more value in the playoffs for them. Ilike what they do. This game is a toss out like a good horse throwing in a clunker, and cinic actually fought back and could have won even this game.

cinci to paly NE for AFC championship.....

Call me crazy, but the NFC has made tremendous strides in the past few weeks in their attempt to catch up with the AFC superiority.

Losing the bye week was huge and now more than likely having to win at Denver then at Indy, and now Denver gets the extra week of rest, a much tougher task!

Their chances dropped dramatically...and on top of it they're a young team that doesn't play great defense, they're one and done.

With only one great team in the AFC this yar I don't see a big edge among any of the other AFC teams...Seattle has been every bit as good as any AFC team...there's no great team in the parity league this year

Don't be surprised to see Cincy one and done....very immature team.
1st round bye is a huge advantage....its like a playoff win plus you get to rest and study both potential playoff opponents, and you get to rest those minor injuries instead creating new ones on the week you should have had off...just plain stupid.

I stand by my statement a couple of weeks ago that they have the worst defense of all the playoff contenders. That was as bad a loss as SD losing to Miami.

Fish I agree with you about the NFC catching up some. Big game today to see what Rex Grossman has. Seattle is great at home, the road can be a little dicey for them, however.

Don't discount Washington if they get in. Still have to beat Philly but team is starting to really look good. It is unfortunate they lost several of those close games earlier in the year. Go 'Skins!

I might be wrong about this, but didn't Denver already have 2 seed tiebreaker before the Cincys loss to Buffalo. Actually they must have had if they already have clinced the 2 spot after yesterday

Looks to me like Pittsburgh is going to go into New England. New England wins out, and Cincy gets beat by KC next week, which is likely, makes New England the 3 seed. What a playoff game that will be.

Denver has the #2 locked up. I don't think the Bengals were going to get the 2 even had they won out. Especially after San Diego losing yesterday. The Chargers won't have a whole lot to play for next week vs Denver now. Im not so sure going on the road the 2nd game of the playoffs is such a bad thing for the Bengals. For whatever reason this team plays better on the road. 3 of their 4 losses were at home. Also if Im not mistaken...if the Pats win their last 2.....the Bengals game vs KC next week will determin who they host the first round. A win vs KC gets them Pittsburgh and a loss vs KC gets them Jacksonville. A loss vs KC would send Pittsburgh to New England because the Pats would have the #3 and the Bengals the #4.
