Yes, you can make money - I have for over 5 years now - but if you think you can retire and get rich gambling then you are sadly mistaken.

I disagree. I see myself being able to do it fulltime about 10 years from now. It takes extreme patience. Just like you cannot retire from realestate or the stock market overnight. It takes years to build up the bankroll. You must avoid pulling out funds at all cost if you have a long range plan. I was doing just that until this past September but I have commited myself to start the process all over again. It will happen, but it will be years from now. Not months.

Of course its possible but you really need to do your research, have some sort of strategy and stay disciplined. A lot easier said then done.

I wouldnt expect anything but YES to win this poll.

It's a big reason a lot of people gamble in the first place. It's part of the dream.

In my opinion. In the long-run "NO". It's like betting the board on a Sunday afternoon or just handicapping 1 or 2 games. I would think that handicapping 1 or 2 games would be an advantage to the player.
