Think of the people sent to the hospitals and such during the British custom of Boxing Day (the day following Christmas.) All the roads are packed with tired drivers going to visit family. Traffic accidents increase, people die and lifes are horribly altered forever!!!!!!!

We need to ban BOXING (day) NOW!!!

Do Canadians do Boxing Day? If so....then even the U.S. being in such close proximity to Canada might be endangered by Boxing Day!!! Stop Boxing NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Call your congressman. tulsa

I dislike boxing day because it delayed a cashout of mine one time.

The person said "sorry we cannot send your cashot today in observance of boxing day"

I was like WTF?

Boxing Day
The day after Christmas, the Feast of St. Stephen, the first Christian martyr, is better known as Boxing Day. The term may come from the opening of church poor boxes that day; maybe from the earthenware boxes with which boy apprentices collected money at the doors of their masters' clients.

Nowadays, we often see, in certain families, gifts (boxes) given to those who provide services throughout the year.

"Boxing Day" is listed in the Canada Labour Code as a holiday.
