I got the Pats at -5 earlier in the week....is it considered bad form to bet the Jets at the same book I got the -5?????

The other accounts I have are at -7, but the book I made the original wager is 7.5.

I don't go for middles, but I'm afraid the Pats will rest guys in the 2nd half and the possible middle is just a bonus....

Barney,

It depends on the book you made the original wager at. Some books don't like players betting both sides, some welcome it; which book are we talking about?

How bout at OLYMPIC ....Mr.L?

Hmm, good question, don't know the answer to that particular book. Generally speaking the big, well financed books(like Olympic) don't care. Pinnacle welcomes it, that I do know. But I've never scalped/middled the same side at Olympic, someone here should know for sure.

How bout this. I have a under 52 bet placed at OLYMPIC. Halftime score 13-3 the over/under for 2nd half is 24. Is this a good middle oppourtunity for me to bet the over in 2nd half? Thoughts appreciated.

PM, if you do, I would only bet back a portion of original bet. You currently have much the best of it, so you would not want to bet back all of the initial wager.

Its definitely a good middly "opportunity" but what alot of people dont think about, is taking that "chance" can very easily cost you the WINNING bet (well a great shot at winning)......

Of course its a wide gap there, u get 12 points to play with, but u have a great shot at a winner, you are risking...

After all that being said, i played the over myself, in second half..LOL

Those are different wagers, they not only don't mind, but they don't have any ground whatsoever to give you crap about it.

Thanks Bucsfan....You just spun me around in circles there. I hear what your saying. Alot of times during games you will see adjustments, and i personally think that Memphis has found a weakness in Akrons defensive backfield and I think the only way Akron moves the ball is throught the air. I like the over in 2nd half as well but lets keep it under 52 ok. Taking a chance. What the heck.

I'd buy back (and have bought back) half..

You may also consider a Memphis/Under Parlay if your book allows.

If you want to buy back on the Jets I'd play elsewhere as you can get 8.5 now and and 9 at some places.
