will be in the booth tonight with Al and
Madden.
1st broadcast was back in 1970.
..oh, what memories .

ESPN and NBC will be showing Monday
games starting next season...

Doubt it will ever be as entertaining.

Enjoy tonight's Historic game.

MNF on anything but ABC is not MNF

(even if ESPN is owned by the same parent company)

Won't be the same...then again the NFL is not the same, and this schedule on MNF this season.

I will miss it but its not the same without cosell. the last 10 years or so its just been another football game, except its on Monday night

Have to agree. ABC has been trying to recreate that same kind of chemistry, but as we all know, chemistry happens, you can't create it.
Many hated Cosell, but I always thought he was well prepared along with being opinionated. So many of the current announcers are opinionated, but don't have the knowledge to back up their statements.

I doubt that we'll be seeing any replays of the infamous call that got Cosell tossed off of MNF.

agree...the lookbacks of mnf are likely to be better than the game...always liked the 3-man booth...still do...nbc will f%^$-it up...thats a LOCK...........

I Hope Espn Doesn't Bring Hank Williams Jr. On Board To Yell The Opening Song Next Year..i Cannot Stand That Redneck..and Please Do Not Put On Some Hip-hop Themed Pre-game Garbage..none Of This Appeals To Nfl Viewers. Just Like You Wouldn't Discuss Point Spreads And Fantasy Baseball League Before Oprah Comes On Stage In That Screamfest.

It's funny how NBC is now looked upon as the joke of the big 4 sports networks...they once were the leaders IMO.

MNF sucks now anyway, maybe the switch will breathe life back into it. The primetime games are both so bad and have been for several seasons, I'm not upset to see MNF changing guard and would feel the same for SNF.
