Have learned alot this past week and trying to learn more about scalping. Haven't been able to find a scalp oppurtunity off a nba/ncaa pointspread(seems nearly impossibile). Are they out there without taking a lead. Is pinny the only offshore book that has high enough +juice to offset most -110's.

You hit it on the head...most shops aren't going to have spreads at more than +110 so the only way you can usually find scalps is with reduced juice books like pinny that have many sides below -110

I also am very surprised that almost all books have the exact same line.

Why? If one book had 193, the other had 194, they'd both be getting one sided action (middlers), so they converge on the mean, 193.5..

Santo,
I know why. I was just surprised after looking for scalps, how almost ALL books have the same line, guess I never knew it was this much a "copycat"

Well any differences will be ironed out by the scalpers/middlers/value seekers in a short period of time usually.

Where do you find your scalps? Totals aren't as bad but pointspread seem pointless to look!

I was kicked out of SIA long, long ago but it a great place to start for newbie arbitragers - SIA and pinnacle would be the 2 places to start at.

Do you still try to scalp or is it getting to difficult to find them and "fly under the radar"?

BODOG = inflated favorites
NINE.COM = slightly inflated favorites and one "no juice game" per day
SIA = inflated favorites
BOS = inflated favorites

Low juice shops like Pinny/Cascade are useful and an exchange like Matchbook is the best, but you need to keep in mind that Matchbook charges you a 2% commission if you win.

Generally, I just scalp to collect my bonus and after that, it's simply picking winners. Taking a 20% bonus and scalping the entire rollover in 2 days is kinda fun. I once took a 40% bonus at Heritage and completed a 10x rollover in a week by scalping.
