They cancelled +9 -105 on George Washington. It is a write-in game, and only 1 other book had that game up - it was -6 at mansion. Just looked like it was a difference of opinion to me. Is this a bad line?

No, not at all, you are owed a bet and an apology, at the least, in my opinion.

I even called already and they made me email - wouldnt let me talk to the line manager. They reply with a form response saying its a bad line and they wont reconsider cancelling.

Is this is 3 point difference in the line, or 15?

Cris was up before them, overnights with 5, then 5 1/2. Obvious mistake. Not braking your balls or ruling against you for fun, but that is an obvious error. Also, Pinny moved it from 9 to 6. Jimi Hendricks If 6 was 9.

Well the line is now -7 in some spots -- so which is bad -5 or +9? Motive and actual intent here aside, it is certainly not inconceivable for an overnight to be -5/-5.5 and for Pinny to open or be -9 real fast. Pinny doesn't always accept others' openers. They push the number sometimes. Especially if they were the next number out or there were very few others released.

I think your calling this an "obvious error" makes light of truly obvious errors. Might have been an error, but I don't think it's as obvious as you seem to think it is. If we're talking -15 vs. -5, then yeah, we can see the error. I wonder if they had a ML up at that time. That might shed some light. If it was -220 or something like that in line with -5, then the case is stronger.

I watch openers open, every day, know who is first, second, third. There are just not any 3 point gaps on the screen. The 5 was the original CRIS opener, and it got bet to 5 1/2. Pinnacle would not hang a 9, when they could hang a 6 or 7 and still get dog action. Plus we are talking openers, in which they have no side to balance. Somebody wrote the 6 as a 9, or transposed it when putting up the number. Just let me know when CRIS and Pinnacle have any number at any time 3 1/2 points different. You won't because they don't.

It doesn't matter what you saw or did - not everyone studies the lines likes you do! I reiterate - a 2and a half or 3 point difference in college basketball, especially overnights is not an obvious error and you know it!:howdy:

Well, we all have our own opinions on this. And I look for gaps or differences on openers. You just do not see anybook, varying far off of CRIS openers on sides. In fact, you almost can count on the rest of the world posting within 1/2 point on wherever the overnights have been bet to. Present your happens all the time argument to Pinnacle. The they had an opinion argument is lost when they moved it from 9 to 6. A Pinnacle opinion would have been -5 1/2 -.35, as they readily move juice and not numbers when opening. Why am I explaining all of this to you, a crappy sugary breakfast cereal. I need another group of clerks to tip.
