1/2 Pt vs Juice

How much should half a pt be worth? For example, you can get 1/2 pt free from SkyBook at -110 compared to Pinnacle without the free half pt at -105. Are there certain pts where the 1/2 pt makes a bigger difference and should be played for a slightly higher juice? Thanks.

3 5 and 7 in basketball are key numbers due to late game fouling so that is the only time I consider half point buying in basketball for example. Meaning i'd much rather have Detroit -5 -110 last night at skybook as an example then the -5.5 -104 pinnacle had up most of the afternoon yesterday.

5 is not a key number in basketball because a team down 4 or 5 will usually continue to foul.

If we're only talking abouit bastketball, a half point better at -110 is ALWAYS better than -105 at a half point worse.
