Minnesota Radio Station Reporting Tice To Lose His Job

<DL minmax_bound="true"><DT minmax_bound="true">Associated Press</DT></DL>
WCCO Radio in Minnesota is reporting Vikings Coach Mike Tice will be fired and out of a job on Monday.

Tice's contract is up after this year and WCCO Radio's Dark Star said sources close within the Vikings organization told him Vikings owner, Zygi Wilf, will relieve Tice of his duties Monday.

A meeting is scheduled between Mike Tice and Zygi Wilf for Monday.

You can add Texans' Dom Capers, Raiders' Norv Turner, Lions' Dick Jauron, Rams' Mike Martz and maybe Bills' Mike Malarkey and Saints' Jim Haslett to that list.

And may they never be head coaches again, that is a horrible list of head coaches.

Funny thing is, you will see over half of them with another team by the 2007 season....

Its the same as baseball, they recycle the same old guys...

Gotta agree with TT though, thought Tice was safe after the winning streak....Seems if u were gonna fire him, it would have come BEFORE that good playing...

Sorry to hear about this firing. Minnesota was a grat place to keep this dumbass tucked away. He could be coming to your favorite team next.

So do the Vikes show up vs the Bears or not?

Have Fassel coach the last game his team next season.

CNNSI:

According to a league source, the Minnesota Vikings likely would show interest in Baltimore offensive coordinator Jim Fassel if they decide to fire coach Mike Tice. Brian Billick said yesterday that Fassel would "absolutely" return as the Ravens' offensive coordinator next season unless he receives a head coaching job this offseason.
