If it were completely up to you, what rule changes would you implement?
I would either eliminate field goals all together or make the rule that you have to be inside the 20 before you can attempt a field goal. If you're on the 18, and get sacked back at the 23.....then you can't try a field goal. This way, field position is much more important. If your drive stalls at your opponents 32 yard line, you try to pin them inside the 10. Adding to that, if you're able to tackle your opponent in the endzone (safety), it's a touchdown. ANY WAY that you can get into your endzone (whether you have the ball or THEY have the ball) is a TD.
I'd also do away with kicking PAT's. The only two choices would be going for 1 from the 3-yd. line, or going for 2 from the 8-yd. line.
