I had been out of WSEX for awhile due to their constant rejections and pauses on their live betting.

They offered a holiday 10% bonus, so I decided to give them another try. I ran really good, won a few consecutive bets. I decided to withdraw a portion of my winnings. I left my original deposit, bonus and a portion of my winnings in my account. WSEX still deducted the deposit bonus.

I emailed them several times asking why, kept getting the response-

"The deposit plus the bonus must be rolled over three times before the bonus can be cashed out. "

I didn't cash out the bonus. LOL. I am still playing on the original deposit, bonus and winnings. WTF ?????

I am shocked. Call their customer service dept.

Why would you be shocked ? Those are the rules, the same rules that most books use.

If you want the bonus, rollover what you agreed to rollover. It's pretty simple.

As far as semantics about not withdrawing the bonus is concerned - its just that - semantics.

They gave you free money. Follow their rules. Really not that complicated.

Some books allow you to take winnings. I thought WSEX was one of them.

LOL, kinda hard to meet bonus rollover requirements since they take it away if you withdraw any portion of your winnings.

It is pretty complicated if it isn't in the rules, I'm not sure where you saw - No withdrawals allowed. I certainly missed it.

a perfect example why chasing a bonus isn't worth the hassle in the long run. skip the bonus, find a book with reduced juice.....better deal in the long run.

Personally I love WSEX's bonus policy. It doesnt matter if your last transaction ws a withdrawl, if your up, etc... just that you have not made a withdrawl in the "bonus period." Sounds like you cant withdraw at all before meeting the rollover or you lose the bonus, but 3x is no bog deal - most places are 5x.

LOL Dante, sure would be, just not stated anywhere in the rules. Unless you see something I don't, in the repeated reply I received.

"The deposit plus the bonus must be rolled over three times before the bonus can be cashed out. "

I never cashed my deposit or the bonus, ONLY a portion of the winnings.

Shiz, agreed.

Even the top tier books don't spell out their rules clearly enough. A simple, "Any withdrawls made before rollover requirement is completed, forfeit the bonus. That includes withdrawing any portion of winnings."

If you want the bonus, follow the rollover rules. It's not rocket science.

3X rollover ! Piece of cake. If you need to push action, find a basketball game where WSEX is a half-point different than SKY, use the half point, you then have something like +3.5/ -2.5... not great but good enough to force rollovers, unless you're trying to roll a lot of money.

It is widely accepted that when you withdraw, the first $x is considered your bonus not winnings. Those that differ tend to shout it from the rooftops.. WSEX don't.

freebie,

no one said it was rocket science. I said, it was unclear.

DougJ, agreed.

Santo,

It may be widely accepted, but it WASN"T clearly stated in the rules.

Bottomline- if you are offered a WSEX bonus you CAN'T withdraw any of your winnings until you meet the rollover requirement. (I still think that sux). It would be nice if they clarified the rules on the site, as opposed to sending the unclear canned email responses.
