Did you notice that the prize that NE would get if they won and Cincy lost was a first round date with the hot Steelers? NE lost their final game home game in ages, as I'm sure their HC was watching KC jump in front of Cincy early and proceeded to pull Brady after the first quarter. Cincy didn't want a third meeting with the Steelers, which I'm sure contributed to their poor effort in KC today, and NE preferred a 1st round matchup with a rusty Leftwich-led Jacksonville. Well, unless Pitt beats Cincy in the first round, the Pats will have to face Indy in the second round. I guess they chose their own poison in screwing their home town fans and bettors backing them today as well. Cassell?

I'd rather face Indy in the 2nd round rather than the AFC title game. Alot of their players won't have played a meaningful down in 5 weeks and could be rusty.

imho

I believe the Pats (if they get there) have a better shot of advancing against the Colts than playing the Broncos in Denver.

wil..

Yea that sounds about right. Match up better with the Colts and they have the psych advantage. Will be a tall order for any team to win at Denver.

Thats what Cinncy gets for making a super bowl video in week 10 or something...fuck them.
Also the Pats have been the class of the NFL for the last 5 years on and off the field.
They had 8 starters start all 16 games this year...thats right 8.

If the Pats beat Jacks and Pitt beats Cinn. then Pitt plays Indy.Pats on road in Denver. (1 seed plays 4 seed and 2 seed plays 3 seed)

If the Pats beat Jacks

I think a 12-4 team can win...I don't think it will happen. Its a Sat. nite game with a chance of snow...Temp will be in the teens. (Pats 12th man)

Jags don't stand a chance. Hell, nobody does. Mr. January Tom Brady doesn't lose in the playoffs.

New England's 6/7 winning streak came against NYJ (twice), Buf, NO, Mia (before they turned things around) and TB mixed with a loss to KC. TB and KC are the only two decent teams they played in that time. The Patriots will be over bet and will probably lose if Leftwich is close to healthy.
