I have an older friend that is absolutely just a horrific gambler. I have access to his account. He used to have me put bets in for him so I had his password. Well then he changed it I believe so I couldn't see how much he was losing. I overheard the password and I check him out on a regular basis.

He constantly is losing and he refills his account the very next day after. He never misses betting a game if its on tv. He always bets the first half if he can and always has a bad line.

What do you do. He gets mad everytime I tell him that he can't win the way he bets. I don't know what to do fellas and I feel terrible seeing him do this to himself.

To be honest, what you're doing (by looking at his account) is illegal, immoral and unethical.

How can we get YOU to stop checking his account?

Asking him is one thing. Breaking into his account is just not right ...

whats autobookie?

Cincy - Whatever man. I am looking out for him. By looking at his mistakes I have been able to help him a little bit just by making comments about things.

He does come to therx, but with some people you can give them tomorrows newspaper and they won't win money. He just gets on here and finds games that he likes that others have picked. You can't coattail people like that IMO. I got him to follow bucsfan last year, but he still lost money because he would bet more on some games then others.

He bet on the Yankees almost EVERY time last year.

It makes me sick:pucking:

But more worried:sad3:

How do you approach someone like this. He always lies about who he has bet on also.

Have him read Tangs posts and if he still chooses to gamble, he is hopeless.

Have you told him that you're breaking into his account? Are you being up-front with him? You sure want him to be open with you, so maybe you should do the same.

You accuse him of lying about something that isn't your business, but you can't see that you're doing something illegal?

Alright Cincy

Thanks for you help on a serious topic.

It is VERY serious. What you are doing is a FELONY and an offense punishable by FEDERAL law.

What he is doing is his business.

As far as your sarcasm about this being a serious topic, my response is one of the very few serious responses in this thread. Most of the replies are from people simply kidding around.

Cincy does have a damn good point-unless this man is truly senile and not in his right mind, you are REALLY treading into some touchy ground here.
