Have never had this problem with them ever before, but cannot bring up their website this morning either.

Let me see if I can possibly find out as to why.

Sure it will be back up shortly.

Ok, just spoke with CRIS.

Their system(website) is indeed down.

They will be back-up as soon as possible.

Diamond is also down

Probably kicking themselves for taking the phones off the hook between the 3rd and 4th Q's of the Ga game last night. Could've made BIG $$.
They answered after the 4th Q started but nobody there could find the 4th Q line. Somebody must be taking some heat for that decision.

Well, it seems to be partailly up. I tried logging onto the "cashier" screen, and I'm getting a weird "Server Error, non-static field requires a target" message. Frustrating first experience with Cris, to say the least:icon_conf :icon_conf

Bernie--Have been with CRIS for years and never experienced this sort of problem and believe you will find CRIS to be a great, great book like I have.

Understand the frustration you are experiencing however.

I'm sure Cris is a top-notch book. I'm not sure I've ever seen a negative post about them before, which is why I added them to my list.

After receiving the error message on the cashier site, I phoned customer service. Even though I had funds in my account, I was going to add several hundred dollars, as there are several college bb games I like tonight, in addition to Penn State. The customer service rep I spoke to was UNBELIEVABLY rude and unprofessional. I guess I shouldn't let that bother me, it never really has in the past (and I've dealt with some doozies at First Fidelity, ect)...however, with the morning I've had, I did let it get to me and instead of depositing funds, I just requested a payout for most of the small amount I had in my account. That request didn't seem to go over very well, but oh well, what can ya do.

In any event, perhaps I'll be convinced to go back to Cris in the future, but for now I'll pass. With Olympic, Pinnacle, BetJamaica and First Fidelity (a good out during baseball season), I'm content. Reuped with Oly a few minutes ago, and a very pleasant-sounding woman handled the request like a professional.

Thanks for the feedback, Fishhead

CRIS has informed me that a server room re-organization was in place over night. Hopefully back to speed now.

The customer service rep I spoke to was UNBELIEVABLY rude and unprofessional.

Bernie, do you recall the name of the CSD rep that was rude?

Jeff, feel free to call Scott at CRIS - he has informed he would be more than happy to help you get any problems you had this weekend straightned out.

Wilhelm;
I honestly don't recall the name. Never think about paying attention to such things, although I suppose we should.

No biggie, live and learn, which is what I'll chalk it up to today. They say first impressions are lasting ones, and I suppose that is true, especially when dealing with $$....Perhaps that was why the day was so frustrating.

bernie..you hit the nail on the head...first impressions are lasting ones....why try to straighten issues out after the fact....getting treated like shit sticks with you for a while...good book or not...shouldn't get rude or operators that don't really have clue on what's going on...just my take...jeffksu

Bernie, thanks for the response, I told CRIS I would try to find out the name of the CSD Rep.

Jeff, why not call Scott and find out what really happened the other night. I know that Citadel has secruity measures in place that perhaps you are not aware of. Instead of continusly bashing a book why not give them a call and see what management has to say about what happend during your attempted deposit. Generally faxed ID's are only requested when red flags are raised. I have no idea what happened in your case but if I were you I would try and find out.

Thanks, wil.

I had a problem with the cs one time. i couldnt understand the name he was giving me so he got all cocky and made a smart ass coment.. i just told myself that there is fucks like that everywhere even where you work at.. i stayed with them because they have earned it.. i know his name but giving a name just tells who you where and are by your screen name.. too many books and kids lurk in here for that!

would i suggest cris has a good book? YES
