Serious question to the RX

First, I want to thank the RX for all the wonderful contests you have had. Makes gambling a little more fun and puts some extra cash in many pockets.

My question is....In 2005, approximately how much money did you guys give away? Skybook alone must have given 10's of thousands. Do you guys keep any record of such? I think most posters, esp. the newbies would be amazed.

I'm sure it's 100's of thousands. EOG ran a thing where they gave away about 85k since they started.

GI Joe alone was 20k.

truley appreciate it...and don't stop now...gave out a ton at the Bash....got some 2 years ago($500) but missed the cut last year

........I think one has to factor in matchplay and rollover requirements and how many converted all this into actual pocketmoney in the end to figure out how much was actually given out.....gross and net more or less..

I'm sure there are some players who made it work out, along with some players who crashed and sent some of their own money afterwards....

Ya it was quite a bit

Between the numerous books and the guys who were lucky enough to win big payouts from giveways such as from skybook
'
Then the free rooms at the bash, the bash giveaways, the odds and ends, etc

All contributors definatly displayed a combined level of generousity rarely seen on any forum at all.

All told, a good 6 figures. Very easy to say
