not the super Bowl it was the ORange Bowl in the early 80's that put this concept of extra entertainment at the half to the public.

is it half over yet? Ive got a brick wall to finish up.

football games are now social events in todays pop culture with all the bells and whistles they can add. ahh, the ole days when it was just about the game with a marching band at halftime for 10 minutes.

I haven't watched 1 minute of any halftime show for any bowl game this season. Why do they have dance routines and flashy glitzy shows for football fans? That would be like advertising during football games for a ballroom dancing show with celebrities for dancers. Football fans aren't going to watch a show like that.

Oh wait.
