I know the ole saying don't go for 2 in the first half. Just think this may haunt them.

way too early, and way too much scoring to be had at that point in the game. Besides, they were up by 8....miss, and a TD and two-point conversion ties it up. Go up by nine, and USC is two possessions from taking the lead. Now that it's 16-10 at HT, it may look like a bad decision, but at the time, i think it was the right call.

nobody should ever go for two in the first half. Plus in this case the one point made it a two possession game.

NOW (with the score 23-17) I would have gone for two. I know, still tons of time (and probably scoring) left in the game, but it looks like these two teams have the potential of tradiing TDs for awhile.

I would have had the offense prepared. Right after the TD, keep the offense on the field and run a two-pt conversion as if it's just the next play. They had their way with USC on that drive, should have been able to muster up three yards.

Yes, once you get this late in game, a 2 point try makes a lot more sense than in the first half
