Leinart FINALLY Doesn't Get Off the Hook

Against ND, everyone seemed to forget that he made the worst decision a QB can make when he tried to scramble for the TD(the play before the sneak). He got bailed out by the ball getting knocked out of bounds, but he made THE WORST decision a QB can make. If he gets tackled before he gets in the endzone, game over. He didn't even get close. Got bailed out by the lucky bounce on the fumble.

On the last play of tonight's game, right outside of FG range with EIGHT SECONDS LEFT, his indecisiveness cost 'em. Once he realized no one was open short to get into FG range, he should have thrown it out of bounds so they could've had one last shot at a hail mary. Instead, he burns EIGHT SECONDS. That's unacceptable.

Those are two inexcusable mistakes for a QB. I was rooting for the Horns, so I love it, but regardless that shit is inexcusable.

What's funny is several people were ripping VY because they figured he wasn't smart enough to lead his team to victory and it was Leinart at the end who was the dumb one to blow the last 8 seconds they had.

I admit it, I thought Young did not have what it took to lead his team to Victory.

However after watching him play tonight I have come 360. He is an intelligent and agile player who can both throw and run.

He was pretty classless in that on field interview to. He said that USC is the better team but Texas just made the plays tonight. UMM, Matt you lost so that means Texas is the better team.

On another note, I gained a ton of respect for Vince Young tonight. Heard several people say that he would be the 2nd player taken behind Bush if he came out and I just didnt see that. But after witnessing his play tonight (decision making, throwing the ball, running) I would have to agree he would be the 2nd best player to be picked if he came out.

Rarely to you see a game like this live up to its billing, but tonight was a Instant Classic!!

Mechanics can be fine tuned but heart and ability cannot. Vince showed the last two tonight and made me believe he has an opportunity on the next level. I don't know about #1 pick though. I would still take Bush but Leinart phucked up tonight. He's shown that he can't handle pressure well and didn't look too much like a leader. I would pick a few other QB in later rounds then go with Leinart. He reminds me of a slower version of Rob Johnson. Also if he made those comments Skins said he did then he's a crybaby and wussies on top of all of the other stuff.
