And Mel Kyper said that

"Argueably Michael Vick is the NFL's most over rated player"

and on Vince Young

"He is much better passer right now than Vick, and he has Heart and is a Good Kid"

I like it....Dan Patrick asked the question, and some could see that was racial, but I like that he had the balls to ask that question to Mel.

And it was SO OBVIOUS!!! that Mel was basically saying that with Vince Young you are getting a better NFL player than MIchael Vick and ........

I am Vince Young fan, very smart articulate young man. And he can throw that ball as well all the rest!!! Good head on his shoulders it appears!!!

This guy is huge, did you see the size of those quads? He is so big that sometimes be gets gumpy and stumbles up or trips or his own self. Not sure about the Vick comparison, but more of a McNair breed of QB possibly.

A smart team(esp. one w/ a fairly good record) will:

Draft Young NOW, nonwithstanding he stays in school another year-- how the Celtics landed Byrd: sign him next year before the next draft.

Unless if i'm ignorant of any NFL reg prohibiting such a move. Anyhow, the late round draft pick expended in such a move this year would hold beacoup trade value like a #1 pick next year too, in the case the team didn't need a qb.

actually - i don't think he will even be that good. Kordell did have a few solid years which will be a few more years than Young who will start out a BUST and only get worse

@ first I thought that too. Have been convinced after seeing him being interviewed. He`s miles smarter & more articulate than either Vick, of course you could say that about a chimp! Also think Mel is right, I`ve said from the beginning that Vick was stupid and way overrated as an NFL QB. He`ll never lead ANY team to a championship. Think Young in the right system will succeed. He`s also MUCH sharper than Daunte. Intelligence is a factor too often overlooked in a QB. Marino not withstanding. I`m not sure Leinart has the arm strength to be a 1st class QB, for sure he`s no Carson Palmer. I`d love to see him (Young) on the Vikes.
