Pitt was +8 at Indy earlier this year, and got buried 26-7 in a game that wasn't even as close as the score indicates.

I think Indy opens up -10 at least if they play Pitt...but I also think Pitt goes out to Cincy.

Pitt will be +8 at Indy, I think.

Pitt should be much healthier for the game and at the end Indy will be piping in "Silence" through their microphones placed in the stands!

The game would have been closer accept for the onsides attempt that gave the colts a short field in the start of the 2nd 1/2. After that Indi scored a quick Td and were up big. This caused Pitt to stop running the ball.

3 times Pitt threatened to score deep in Colts territory in the second ½ and came away with 0 points. They went for it on 4th each time b/c they were behind by a large amount. They could have easily kicked FG's on each of those drive.

Also, Pitt was throwing every down in the 2nd 1/2 and did not get to play there game at all. I think the game could have been a lot closer if they stuck to running the ball.

Indy will be a double digit fav over Pitt (Im thinking 11.5). I dont believe Pitt has any chance of beating Indy at home. I also dont think any team has a chance of beating Indy at home this year, including last years Super Bowl Champions.

To beat the Colts you will have to run the ball very well. You must keep their O off the field. Can Steelers do this, yes. But I like NE chances of beating the Colts better.

And thats why they play the game.

Dante, would you have preferred the Steelers winning one championship over the last 10 years and missing the playoffs every other year or what they have accomplished... being perennial contenders but not getting the big one?

I think it depends on the mental state of the Colts at this point. After being beaten by San Diego to end the streak and keeping their skilled position players healthy in the loss to Seattle, followed by the emotional loss of Tony Dungy's son and then winning the last game against Arizona for the coach, plus a two week layoff, not really certain how football sharp the Colts may be in the first playoff game. If the Steelers are sharp enough to beat the Bengals and the Colts are not crisped, an upset is possible. As for the line, probably Colts -7.

Dante Dante Dante...

that colts game could have been a lot closer...

If i remember right we gave up a TD on the first play on a D mistake.

we missed a FG.

Ben was rusty.

We couldnt run for some reason?

Not saying if we beat cincy that we will beat the colts but if pitts a DD dog, might be a STRONG play.

Colts -6. Steelers are playing much better than they they were when the first faced Indianapolis.

Indy did everything they could to not try to score TD's in the 1st half of the season, and the 2nd half of that game. If the matchup happens, and the line comes out at 7 or under, I will hammer the absolute hell out of it.
