For what? Can't just be for the minor traffic violations?

When the school announced Vick's suspension last year, Steger said if Vick faced additional off-field troubles, "his Virginia Tech career is effectively ended."

Speeding, stomping on that guys calf. Didn't think they would kick him off though.

Lot of behind the scene problems that never make the newswires. Guy is a menace to all those around him, including himself. Bad for school, locker room, coaches, other players. You do not wishaway a cancerous tumor, you surgically remove it. He gets my Ryan Leaf/Todd Marinovich award.

He can enter the NFL draft and get taken to play back up for 3-5 years and learn what he missed playing in college or he can redshirt a year and transfer.

If he transfers, he loses a year-does that still hold true when kicked off the team?

He has a space with his name on it right next to Art Schlicter. On cell block former Q. These people have God given talent to go where none of us posting degenerates ever even dream of going, and cannot just play the game. Inexcusable and zero sympathy from FROG. Might as well dig a ditch.

I am sure it does. This rule is used to slow kids from jumping from school 2 school. If there was this loophole, then whats to stop any kid from punching there coach in the face instead of wasting a year not playing with transfering.

:lolBIG: .....Good point. I suppose that loophole would be abused pretty badly if it existed

And so it goes......

He's a thug, plain and simple. People like him cannot function in decent society.

He could go to an NAIA school and play this fall if I'm not mistaken.

I think that's the case for any school outside of Div 1-A (but I could be wrong)

He could end up in the pen or dead like 50% of the non professional athletes who happen to be African American. Any two will do. He could have completely ruined his own reputation so not even Syracuse would take a chance on him. He could team up with TO and tour the country with a pass and catch act on their off year. He could become a rapper with cred. He could hold up innocents in the back alley behind a bar, stealing cel phones. He could file a discrimination suit with the NCAAP against the NCAA.

He cannot play NCAA football next season, and if his life was not in a downward spiral, it sure as hell is now.

Yeah, he can go to a D1-AA or D2 school, I'm pretty sure. DEFINITELY D2, not sure about D1-AA, though.

Who cares? The guy wasn't GREAT at Tech this year, was shaping up to never fulfill his potential, and is a punkass thug to boot. I, for one, hope I never hear of him again on the news.
