Can we switch the name of this forum? It's more than appropriate - half the posters are touts or wannabee tout (like Panther and Rod) - they put up their plays with alot of drama around them - i.e., last night I read, "see, it's easy if you know your business" - sure, it's real easy - his sister's easy and that's it - all they do is fuck over the newbies who send them money - Kodiak bragged that he has 420 clients - WHERE THE FUCK DID HE GET 420 clients from - this should be a tout free site - there should no name like Proside this or Westside sports and there should be no tout promotion forum - touts love when they put up some plays and they win - not because they bet the game because the the squares and newbies are hooked.
That is bullshit-we have hundreds of posters who post their plays with zero agenda behind the posts. There is a fine line between censorship and policing a forum, natrually some don't like certain poster names but where do you draw that line. We do not allow outright solicitation or email addresses in any of the sport forums. Any outright solicitation threads are immediately moved to The Site Promotion forums.

kidslick is 100% right about the site promotions and the subtle and blatant touting in threads and it has definitely gotten worse.
And even though Identity is gone the locks and just plain bullshit record posting seem to be increasing too

OK, 50% of the poster are not wannabee touts but a significant portion are.
One way to weed them out is get rid of any name that is a tout's name, i.e. Prosidesports - if your name is Prosidesports you are an obvious tout - the newbies will find a way to locate you.

I always wondered why Mike from Champion Sports was allowed to post in the posting forums instead of being forced to post in the Site Promotion forum. I guess he's not breaking any of the rules you mention. It is rather obvious however that he works for professional group.
Why force companies to post in a Site Promotion forum while allowing others to post in the posting forums simply because they don't mention their web site? It seems to be a way of getting around having touts stay out of the pick forums.
