this isn't mathematically a scalp since there are other possible outcomes, but if the libs/conservatives are the #1 and #2 parties (which is basically gonna happen barring some sort of political disaster), your money is pretty safe..

i'm personally only NDP Under 21.5 seats +124 at pinny.. with the conservatives taking the lead in the polling and riding the momentum, you can expect the "strategic voting" card to come out to shift votes to the liberals from the ndp to keep the conservatives out..

It's very good in hindsight, but how do you predict those moves? ;o)
I made a killing on both UK and US elections, and I have good (betting-orientated) news sites for both, which affect the betfair market, but the books/us exchanges lag behind..

the recent moves are a result of the recent debates and polls.. if you want coverage of the canadian election, you can check the few national newspapers (globe, national post) and the national networks (ctv and cbc)..
it's not that exciting..
that being said, pinny just raised their limits on the canadian election.. "Which Party will win more seats? " just went to a 2749.74 CAD max wager.. i guess there are other people interested..

Well the market seems to have been fairly thin given the $250 max bet. I was surprised by the +345 and felt it had swung too far. When it was +320 I suggested it was worth a lead.
Liberals are +320 again now and the max is up to $2000 so I guess the market is maturing. I still think +320 is a buying opportunity but as always there are no guarantees.
