Yes, i started the week off great this morning.....not only am i sick right now, but i was running a little late for work, and thought i wasnt gonna make it on time......I only live about 5 minutes from work, so jumped in and headed off....get within 1 block of work, and stop at the 4 way stop, move through to turn into work, and a cop is right behind, and turns on his lights.....i'm thinking, he cant mean me, i stopped, i have no taillight out, my tags arent expired, etc....so i turn into my parking spot, and sure enough he pulls in right behind me......Oh F***

So i go ahead and get out, as i am cutting it close, then realize they usually dont like u to get out, however, this guy was pretty decent...i told him i was coming to work, reason i got pulled over, didnt have my seat belt on....Now i wear my seat belt around 90% of the time, was jsut hurrying this am and really didnt notice i hadnt put it on......so i get a 25.00 ticket, to start off my day....but it could have been worse, i couldnt find my insurance card, and he said dont worry about it....
Think they were patroling the area though, cuz the funeral home across the street was being threatened with protests from some "church group" in Kansas, cuz they were burying a gay soldier that died in Iraq, and they were saying that God punished him for his lifestyle, or something like that......so they said they were gonna protest the funeral, which is a disgrace, so the Hell's Angels group here in Evansville, said they were gonna put up a "bike barrier" around the funeral home, and see how many protestors wanna mess with his family then......tv crews were out there all day, etc.....But i think thats why cops were patrolling that early, and i just wasnt thinking...

So, you thought your monday was bad....:sad3:

God is on their side TT, they're fortunate that they've seen the light.

I hope when I die I don't go anywhere near the place that those fukers worship.

Class move by the Hell's Angels. Imagine a rumble between them and a church group...what a massacre that would be.

omg i was thinking the same thing....sorry about your luck bucs, but just win a bet and use the money to pay for your ticket, its easy, just pick the team that is gonna win and you receive 25 bucks as a prize...lol.

I was in the Marine Corps for 4 years and really feel bad for the gay ppl. They get hastled by enlisted soldiers if they find out they are gay, and they get harrassed by civilians when they get out, but to dishonor a soldier who has just given their life for his/her country is putrid, gay or straight...makes me sad!!

The name of the guy that runs that group is Fred Phelps. He has to be one of the most demented people that I have seen in my lifetime. A real scum-bag.

LOL

Well i posted my 3 fav plays for the day, in the w-r-x contest thread here in offshore, lets see how i do....

I'm not so upset about the ticket, like Tang said, if u only get a 25.00 ticket, you got lucky....Its the idea, that i was so close to work, and that i always wear my seat belt, and simply forgot the one time that a cop was behind me....

And i agree with what everyone has said about the group from Kansas, they need to get their asses out of our town.....the viewing was supposed to start at 2 today, so im not sure what happend.....they have decided to move the funeral downtown, to the Center, and big convention building...my guess is they can monitor and protect the family better...plus, i think the governor, is supposed to be coming, which they can provide better security for him as well..

your papers, sir

Bucs, sorry to hear about you stressful morning. Glad it wasn't too costly. It's a $100 here for not wearing one's seatbelt. What a scam.

The idea that the law allows the police to pull over a motorist for not wearing a seat belt is insane. How long till we have a law that allows police to pull us over to make sure we wiped our ass properly?

Our fine is about $100 plus we get 2 points against our license, they treat it pretty much the same as a speeding ticket.
