I have not bet either yet but am I missing something? I have three teams that can legitimately win and these two plus Indy comprised those three. Denver is favored over the Pats? Has anyone seen the last 3 years? I think the Panthers are much better team the Chicago. I just don't see home field as that critical.

3 out of 4 home teams lost in the first round.

The 2nd round advantage isn't about homefield as much as its about the bye week.

That being said New England rested everyone the last week of the regular season and Denver played everyone.

Denver was 8-0 at home this season; Bears were 7-1 (won last 6). Hard to ignore. Homefield is certainly big. Den outscored opponents 209-100 at home.

Denver home field advantage is larger than most with that elevation. Mile High was always one of the toughest places to play even when they had mediocre teams.

Denver has the elavation in their favor and the Bears hoping for a typical windy, cold, Chicago mid-January afternoon. Interesting, both teams handled their opposition at the same locals during the regular season.

It's not going to be a typical freezing Chicago January afternoon.

Would think you could win a unit this weekend playing the double down method. Bet Dog#1 for 1 unit, if they win you are done. . they lose you bet dog #2 for 2 units?

I know its a bit risky, but one of these two dogs will come cover right?

Mabye it will snow for a change. That would be good for the bears. Either way I think the bears win around 20-10 - Carolina won't be able to run on the bears and their passing is mediocre.

i think the cold would help carolina because if either team is struggaling to move the ball, it would be the panthers having the better offense to be able to muster out something in the bad weather.

Denver should be favorite by more. Again, as stated in numerous other posts, who has NE beat this year? Denver is a very good team and a fantastic home team. Come on NE backers, keep driving the line lower.
