I know it sounds absurd, but if New England wins on Saturday, a small part of me is hoping the Colts can beat Pittsburgh. Just because I think there is no way we can go into New England and win and it would lead to New England's 3rd straight title. Right now, most people will say that the 70's Steelers was the greatest dynasty ever, but if the Patriots can win the Super Bowl this year, it will be hard to argue that the Pats aren't the best. And besides the Broncos and Colts I don't think there's another team left that can beat the Pats, so for the sake of preserving the title of greatest dynasty ever, if the Pats win, I wouldn't be too upset if the Colts won on Sunday. However, let's hope Denver takes care of business and this becomes a moot point.

If Pitt can beat Indy, then they can beat NE. Don't think the former is going to happen.

Dante, I know it sounds weird, but there's no way I can see us getting past the Pats so I'd rather have us lose now then lose ANOTHER AFC Championship to the ****ing Pats and losing the title of greatest football dynasty.

Im a die hard Steeler fan and thats got to be the most retarded thing Ive ever heard. Obviously not a real fan. Ill run that by the guys at the Steeler bar this weekend and see what they think. Sounds like a 17 year old kid from California who likes the Steelers because yellow is his favorite color. Not at all trying to be mean but I just cant believe what he just said!

I'm a diehard Steeler fan too, but I look at it this way. If the Steelers can't win the Super Bowl (which I dont think they can if we have to go into New England) I don't want the Patriots too. And honestly, we hear it all the time......if you don't win the Super Bowl the season was a failure. So which would you rather have, beating the Colts this week and possibly getting beat by the Pats next week while the Pats celebrate status of greatest dynasty ever......or going out this round and watching the Pats get dismantled and lose the chance to make that claim.

There's always a chance. I'd say they have nearly as good a shot at going to New England and winning as they do going to Denver and winning. Both tall tasks. If you really would root for them to lose even a little bit then you're really not a fan of the team. You would rather your team lose than have them play in the AFC title game? I dont care if they are playing the all madden team, there is always a chance.

Denver is beatable. Very tough game to cap for me, +3.5 is pretty damn tempting.

I give the Denver the edge. Big homefield advantage and I think they match up well with the Pats. But wouldn't be surprised at all if Brady and the Pats pull it out again. Seymour Wilfork Colvin really playing well for the Pats. Plummer is going to have to throw the ball and throw it well for them to win. Needless to say biggest game of his career and I think the best matchup of the weekend. Should be a good one.

Weather shouldn't be a factor-but the wind may sneak in an issue. A 60 degree day dropping into the 40's by the end of the game. Wind will be a problem if the temps hit 65-70 (higher temps=higher winds).

Denver has always been a tough venue. Crowd among the loudest in the NFL. Pats 1st playoff road game outside of Heinz Field in the Belichick era. Must see TV

Those old Pats logos have be top 5 all time for sports uniforms
I went to the game Saturday nite and you as much of the old logo as you do the "flying Elvis"..I got Pat Patriot on aabout 100 things....I gotta white 89 mustang convertabile I'm thinking of having it painted on the hood.
It would be the most popular logo in sports if it was around while they are winning....I use to go to games when they were 2-14, 4-12, so I wear Pat as badge of honor to the Steve Grogans.

Can you believe this guy would rather see his team commit suicide than to have them compete against the Pats.
Thats like saying we should nuke NY, Boston, washington, before Al Queda does it.

Yea that logo is good stuff. I sure wouldn't wanna play football against that dude. It makes me think of Tecmo Super Bowl with spaghetti arm Grogan throwing jumpballs to Fryer all day long.

Ok Bc Eagle, Im so sorry.(not). He makes no point. Thats rediculous. He later says " They might lose to the Pats". No shit. And they might beat the Pats. I could care less what people think as far as Patriots being a dynasty. Who cares? Im a Steeler fan. If the Pats can win it again then they deserve to be considered a dynasty. I cant believe that a guy who claims to be a die hard fan of any team ,would say that he hopes his team loses because they "might" lose the next game. Thats a pathetic outlook. I disagree with Hines, that doesnt mean I direspect him BC. Now stop responding to my posts clown!
