Anyone Hear the Pens' Coach talk about his Team?

Check SC tonight or tomorrow morning hopefully they'll show it alot....the dude just went off on his team, and how bad their D is. Straight up said his defenseman suck and are good at sucking and are making his life miserable.

I'm pounding Columbus at home they are not that bad.

The guy didnt say one thing that wasnt true. Saw the whole press conference and he basically just lambasted the entire team. He said they should dock these guys thier salary based on how many minutes a game that they give any effort. He ripped into the defensemen saying they were the softest bunch of players he has ever seen.

I think alot carries over to the fact that not one of these guys came to the defense of Crosby on Saturday against Atlanta. The team goon, Andre Roy didnt even throw a check out to show the other teams that picking on Crosby wont be tolerated.

How this organization hopes to secure a new arena with the gutless heartless guys they have on this team is beyond me.

Therrien called a timeout about 2 minutes into the 2nd period and if you could read lips you could tell he was pissed. He repetedley told them to wake the F### up.

Loved the line that they are making his life miserable, CLASSIC. Wish more coaches would call out these lazy overpaid athletics in every sport.


Even though its one game, I expect them to win against Columbus on Wednesday night.

Ive watched about half of the Pens games this year and I havent seen one single fight yet this season!! The way the Thrashers abused Crosby with no retaliation was a disgrace. Team has no heart and really no talent outside of a select few. They need to be laid into with the way they have been playing. No talent is one thing but lack of effort and lack of balls is another.
