Why would anyone even keep this guy around and pay him HUGE coin? He plays 15 games a year, and rests his weary bones the rest of the season. A 90 year old geriatric has less "ailments". Totally pathetic guy. On top o that, I heard from people that he doesn't tip one dollar at restaurants. Great contributer to society he is. Grant Hill.....:finger23: :finger: :realtongu

For six years, Grant Hill was one of the top 5 best players in the NBA. Just an amazing player who could do it all.

So to call him a bust would be unfair. You couldn't even say he didn't fulfill his potential. He was an all-star from his rookie year till the year his body betrayed him.

You make good points. Perhaps I am inherently biased because i have heard horror stories about how he stiffs everyone. Before I had any $$, I worked in the service industry doing all kinds of jobs from caddy, to pizza delivery guy, etc. etc. When I hear a guy is a complete stiff like Michael Jordan it makes me want to :pucking:

Grant was a big tease. He should have been great. For 3 years as Jordan ruled he was the only challanger and Shack,

I have heard from both limo drivers and massage therapists at the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas that he tipped nada, zero, zilch. I also heard that when he lived in Detroit, he reserved a restaurant/club from a friend of a friend, and stiffed on the enire tab saying they should be happy that a celeb like him even made an appearance. G Hill...:realtongu

When i was at Atlantis Resort two years ago i asked the bellhop about Jordan. he said when he is with the wife tips very little because the wife is tight with the buck. when not with the wife very good tipper. he said tiger Woods a compete stiff and a jerk to try and talk to. that is not the first time i heard that about tiger.

on to the topic. IMHO, can't say a guy is a bust when he has had many injuries during his career like Grant Hill and Sam Bowie. hard to argue with ryan leaf and tony mandarich. remember tony m. in college said he only took caffiene pills. too funny.

Sad story of course, but no bigger bust than Len Bias. Drafted in the top 5 by the Celtics and kills himself the next day with drugs. It does not get any worse than that.

How can Grant Hill be considered a bust? He has had awesome seasons and has been an All Star...there are far bigger busts as I am sure other posters are pointing out (I didn't read the entire thread).
