I don't know a lot about middles, but is a 1 point middle worth attempting?

It all depends on the VIG involved.

In this example, Hawkeye is risking $5 to win $200, assumming he wagers $105 on both sides.

Having said that, he only needs to have the number 13 fall ONE time out of FORTY(2.5% of the time) for him to show a profit.

Having said the above, one then must determine if they believe that indeed that number will fall 2.5% or greater for it to be profitable longterm.

I happen to think it will.

Do you have data as to how often a number hits....obviously it depends on what the spread is.

I have been study stuff like this for a month now and I would say it pretty much is a break even bet in the long term. Now it would be a better bet if the spread was under 10.

For this bet, one should buy in at a new book for one of the bets at say 20% bonus Then the odds start getting even better in your favor. There are probably a 1,000 books out there, no way in hell you've tried them all. TRY one here and support the RX while your at it!!!, use your rewards credit card while you buy in and enjoy thye game. Hell if the bonus is nice enough buy another 1/2 point somewhere on this bet. Damn the books make it tough for some here to lose their money.

After that if you play at the losing book at least you have a history of losing there as well.
