Do they have to continue to play that stupid bumper music theme. The broadcasts were so much better during the NFL Today era of Brent, Phyllis and Irv. They just did the play by play and color, no gimmicks. The associate producer in the truck must get a bonus if he can the CBS football theme more than 40 times a game. Even Fox won't hammer their theme as much. The over produced games today are joke

What makes it so plentiful and annoying is that they always have th emusic with the graphic (often in front of some cheerleaders) and plaster advertisements in your face. The whole theme is old and it's about time for a change.

Not sure if we're talking about the same CBS music, but there is absolutely nothing that kicks off the beginning of the NCAA basketball tournament in Vegas better than hearing that theme music for the first time right before tip off of the 9 AM games.

They are talking about the Playstation-like music that comes up whenever a players pic or statistics are displayed. Yes, it is god-awful.

Agreed...CBS NCAA bball music is AWESOME.

Also, I don't know if anyone else remembers it, but CBS used to have a different theme song for the NFL(they still use it for radio)...that shit also rocks.
