Guy's....why is 2.5 such a dangerous number??

You want to lay 2.5 and buy +3 or better +3.5 given that the game could end on a 3.

There is no profit to be made (except by the book) by paying the exorbitant juice to buy up to 3 or 3.5

A little less than 10% of games with a line of 3 end up on 3.

In other words, do not pay more than 20 cents - if you can get 15 cents on or off of 3 that is worth it in the NFL.

Does anyone know any books willing to let you buy to 3 for less than 20 cents?

NOT in todays times they wont let you do that, they used to but not anymore. Some even charge as much as -35. But i do understand that 3 is the most important number in the NFL.

Guardian Guarantee allows you to buy 1/2 from 3.5 to 3 and 3 to 2.5 for 10 cents. They don't allow you to sell any points at a reduced juice though.

A great book to have in your portfolio. If you sign up with no bonus, you can join the -105 club where all sides and totals are reduced to -105 24/7. They often have excellent scalping opps. Right now they have Den -3.5 and you can buy it to Den -3 for -120 (-115 if you have the reduced vig option).
