Peyton got some gift calls....More was expected of him than Eli. Fact is both mailed it in in the most important game for their teams of the season.

Didn't Peyton throw for 295 and a TD today? Also put his team in a position to tie at the end (even though the playcalling could have been better on 3rd down). If Vanderjact makes that kick, this thread isn't even made.

Nonsense. Were you watching the same game I was today. Forget the stats, Peyton didn't play well. Save for the officials and the fact that all the energy was taken out of Pitt after that terrible call, the question would be moot...That was another pick as well.

Forgot to mention the BS noncall of Fanaca's false start on 4th and inches right after Indy scored. Think Pitt wanted to give up the ball back to Manning in that spot?

I think Eli gets more of a pass due to his inexperience. Peyton has got to have more generalship in the big games. He looked very shaky to start the game. He can blame it on protection all he wants but he played a big role in the 1st half debacle.

Funny, he gets plenty of praise when the offensive line gives him all day to throw. They just mentioned at halftime of the Bear game that he publicly criticized his line after the game. That goes along with that hurt little boy look he sports if a teammate screws up, but he just shrugs when HE screws up. F uck him, he's a loser-oh for every big game in college, and similar in the pros...
