I'd say there's no doubt about it. If he stays streaking toward the sideline he outruns him.

I agree if he would have stayed right and tried to beat Ben outside, he probably scores...Pitt really deserved that win today.

how bout if one of the 3 guys running along side of him goes to block ben instead of get in harpers way .

same thing last night when the 3 idiots running along side bailey celebrating instead of looking for someone to block .

their is no way in the world that harper shouldnt have taken that the distance.

and then top off that blunder with idiotic clock management and play calling to set up a 45 yd. field goal attempt .

If he hadn't gotten stabbed by his wife in the knee yesterday, he probably scores no matter what route he took.

hmmm, he seemed to be running fine though...I really can't figure why he cut back unless he thought someone was on his right.

i can digest everything that happened today on the field with understanding .... EXCEPT .... for the playcalling from the colts on the last three downs. 3 and 2 with 2 time outs? you have to try and get a first down on the ground !!! 2 time outs !!!

peyton will have a tough time sleeping tonite.

run.. first down, time out. then you can take three more shots for the TD. makes no sense what he did

he didnt seem to have all of his jets to me, he never really turned em on.... if they had been on, I dont think big ben could have stopped him.

There were so many questionable plays and decisions during that game.

Pittsburgh- Why the heck did Cowher become a wuss with 3 timeouts and the Pittsburgh passing game shredding the Colts D and decide to run out the clock before the half---go for the win and jugular! Any points there would have been devastating to the Colts.

Colts--So many but I agree watching the run back again Harper had a chaperone of like 3 clowns next to him doing absolutely nothing. THROW A BLOCK OR TWO! These guys did nothing.
Harper also looked winded as soon as he got the ball. He really should have taken that to the house.

Then the Colts get the ball and 2 timeouts and should have tried to move closer instead of all these bombs into the endzone. Damn run the ball once. Just really piss poor playcalling and time management at the end. Settling on a 46 yard FG. WOW!

Then Vanderjagt, what a cocky SOB and he CHOKES. I mean he does not even come close. Ultimate CHOKE job. Maybe he should do less of practicing that stupid high five and turning his back after, and stop trying to look more like a queer by adding to his earring collection and practice kicking some FGs that actually come close.

This was the Colts prime chance this year. They had the bye, home field, and #1 seed, and not necessarily a tough road to the Super Bowl especially with New England out of it now, and they pissed it all away. Manning can not handle the heat and his happy feet returned. They may never have this opportunity again.

That better be the end of teams resting players for more than 1 game. They decided to not show up until the second half and by then it was too late. Luckily the refs gave them an opportunity and Bettis gave them a gift too. They got cute resting players much too early and it showed. This game is a perfect example of that.

Harper has a whole gear above the one he used on that return, but he just couldn't shift into it due to the injury. Regardless, Indy had their chances and didn't get the job done.

Especially since ben was backpedalling . All harper had to do is run away from ben and he scores, thus taking the game out of mannings hands. Manning looked bad all day, and could have made up for it on either of the last two drives but wasnt able to deliever. Vanderjet is good but noone wants to depend on the kicker although he is good beyond 46 yards in the dome. Pressure got to him also.

Yesterday was not the first time Manning has left field (end of 1st half particularly) with timeouts in hip pocket while clock burns inside of two minutes thus losing precious snaps to get ball closer to end zone.

He is so overrated as a cerebral QB. Too cocky for own good

The second I saw that it was Harper that picked up the ball, I breathed a sigh of relief and thought, "Any MoFo that can't outrun his wife when she's chasing him with a knife, gets caught here"

Sure enough

Sign his wife up... she would've gone the distance.
