Is this really going to happen - it just couldn't get any bigger - who wins? if Gracie can choke out Severn I have to think Hughes will have a tough time throwing Gracie around and would be real suceptible to a submission.

Matt Hughes is the current UFC Welterweight Champion. He is an excellent fighter who has a current record of 38-4. He is definitely one of the top welterweights in the world. Gracie is a legend in MMA who introduced the US to the style of "Gracie Jiu-Jitsu" in the early 1990's. At the time his style was unbeatable in Mixed Martial Arts. Since the early 1990's the sport of MMA has evolved temendously and while Gracie is still a good fighter there are many others including Hughes who have a more well rounded game. If they fought this year Hughes would definitely be the favorite.

Gracie is done for. Gracie will have just as good of a comeback that Tank Abbott did.

dmmd98, do you post at MMAFighting.com?

Someone there in the fight thread, makes the same exact Tank Abbott analogy.
