First ESPN says Haslett will be named the Lions head coach, now its going to be TB defensive line coach Rod Marinelli. I am going to have to use an asterisk when reporting news from *ESPN*.

Haslett has been the assumed coach twice now this off season...not much difference from when he was supposedly Saints coach.

Does it really matter who coaches this team? I can;t remember the last time they were REALLY good. Made the playoffs a few times in Sanders era, but never were legit threats. Don't see that changing anytime soon.

Wonder if the Lions followed the minority-interview policy. They didn't with Mooch.

And look what happened to the Lions and Mooch! Yep, karma is a bitch.

This guy might be lucky. You figure Millen is on an extremely short leash, if things don't get better he gets fired first and this new coach catches a break.

Millen is a freaking looser. All Lions organization is messed up and I don't see anybody who can fix it at least for next couple years.
At lease we have the PISTONS .
