Dr. Z hits like 30% of his picks every year. His opinion is worthless.

I think he is dead on: Not a Colts or Pats fan

He dead on????????

Tom Brady 10-1 in the postseason.

Peyton Manning 4-7 or something like that. How can he be dead on?????????

By the way, Dr Z had the Chicago Bears ranked as the 32nd best team in the league preseason

Have to agree with Dr. Z to some point. Although he does credit the blitzing of Denver and Pittsbrugh, it seems to me the article is more about the poor responses of the Pats and Colts, instead of the excellent game plans of the Broncos and Steelers. Remember, Denver was favored and played at home. And the Steelers took the game right to the Colts defense with 14 early points. Also no mention of the coaching response of Bilicheck and Dungy. The only coach mentioned, was LeBeau of Pittsburgh.

I agree with the article to a point. Brady didn't have his best game or playoff.Brady also didn't have his starting center or left tackle. His offensive line was retooled about 3 times during the year with two rookies starting, and basically no running game because of it.
The Colts went the entire year virtually injury free, had home field advantge, referees cheating for them, their opponent stumbling and bumbling toward the finish line and Peytom finished the drive with some worst desicions in you could make on 2nd and 2....he has been given every piece of hardware that you don't have to win on a field.
If Brady is getting a pass for his performance on Saturday he has earned it...he was 1 bad pass from being 11-0 in the playoffs...insted he is 10-1 and still has the best pass to interception ratio in NFL playoff history
And it was because of Brady that the Pats were only one bad pass away from heading into the AFC championship game....again.

I agree with him; some of New England's playoff wins have come despite lackluster days by Brady. Their strength has always been strong defense and mistake-free football, not Tom Brady. I also don't think you can rip Manning for choking; he was under pressure all day and no pure dropback passer will succeed without time to throw.
