I think skybook is the most overrated book. Low limits, stupid delay (eventually I predict you will be on delay), they deny the delay a lot, charge for all payouts. Skybook used to be one of the best, but they are overrated these days.
I agree with Nimue77. Sky is pretty overated.
Here's how I'd break down the math. The free half is worth about 7 cents on a hoops side, limit is $300.
You get say a side +6 330= 300, but could have got +5.5 -105 315=300.
The half is worth 7 cents, so it's about equal to getting +5.5 -103 309=300.
Fair deal, for sure, so it's worth about $6 on a limit bet !
They lack some stuff like pucklines, overnites, free payouts. They sponsor great contests, so always get a bet in there weekly in case you win a contest. They pay fine.
I'd miss plenty of books more than SKY if I had to eliminate one, they'd be about 7th on my protected list, in other words I'd rate about 6 as being more important to keep. The contests are a main reason I play there.
Partial list of books more important to me are Mansion, Pinny, Wagerweb,SIA,Olympic, 5 Dimes, Trojan, it depends on the season though ! SIA becomes less useful after NFL, 5D becomes more useful during MLB, etc.
Mansion is my overall favorite book, but lacks many things.
