How many here can actually say... I won big and purchased something I like.

Not regret the purchase after losing the following week.

I've had a few regrets in my time, but not lately as you learned my lesson.

Thanks,

Why look at it that way? Purchase something you like with money you have, whether it is from work or a manageable withdrawal from your bankroll.

Had a great Sunday a few days ago...had a few hundred and turned it into over 5k. Made a withdrawl yesterday and went out and spent half of it shopping on new summer wear, shoes, new xbox 360, games and some expensive smoke...so far have not regreted it

I have a few tattoos from football winnings. I cash out annually after the Superbowl, any profits usually go towards credit cards. (the nice shit I bought on faith)

I bought a Honda Pilot paid cash and just love it despite ups and downs that do occur.

After a profitable first half of baseball last year, made a hefty withdrawl and booked a 7 day Carnival Cruise. Went to Jamica, Cayman Islands, Cozemel, and Beliez....Dove at every site and lived like a king for 7 days...haven't regreted one bit of since it was only a part of my bankroll!!

I bought a house with gambling profits a few years ago. I am still living in the house and it is worth 3 times what I paid for it now. You might say my only regret was not buying a more expensive house.

I ALWAYS lose the next time out after buying some BIG ticket item. Have kinda sorta learned to live with it.

When I won my first big (by my standards then anyway) online tourney it was about $800 from $40 buyin. This was after about 10-12 hour session and I was already up a couple hundred (from $10 MTT's) so I decided to splashout a little and get something to remind me how good winning felt.

I managed to find a nice gold ring with 4 aces on it and figured it was perfect - about 18 months later and I still wear it whenever I play a live tourney, although it doesn't bring me as much luck as I thought it might :toast:
