Question about BetUS double line

I've noticed that BetUS has Pittsburgh Steelers -4.5 and CBB Kentucky -4.5 on their lines but when i logged in to my account, I see I am getting both 4 and 4.....anyone out there playing with this book long and notice the same?....I cashed out a few dimes last couple weeks and I am starting to see this crazy double line....

Any commentss?

actually i have noticed it at other books as well. when you log in you get the current up to date line as opposed to the general public line for guest to view i suppose.

I do not send my money to known crooks. I think you'll find most posters here at The RX feel the same way.

You may want to do a search of this book on this site, there are quite a few negative comments .

I see he cashed out 2 dimes with no problem. Not even one mention of there being a delay. How bad could they be?

What an assinine statement. Please put yourself in the shoes of the people they have robbed. Specifically the bettor they stiffed for over $100,000. Then ask the question, "How bad could they be"?

books like bet us, royal, etc rob from the big winners to pay the losers (small time winners) to keep them coming back. please, take your money out of bet us and post it at any number of reputable books. these posts about royal, betus and the like are getting old.

Sorry if it's an "assinine" statement Chuck, but I just look at the facts. The facts are that this guy cashed out for 2 dimes with no problem. Now if he isn't a regular here and just pimping for the site, that's another story. Those in power should know the difference.

I have no knowledge of them stiffing someone for that kind of money. If that's true, no one should play with them.

This book has a long history of stealing from winners. There is not one winner still playing there, sure 2k they will pay no problem, are you a net winner or loser there. Or are you a newbie winner? Long time you will not be a winner there because they will make sure you lose your money one way or another.

Betus deals 2 sets of lines. They start everyone on the square line, but if they see you ebtting on the dogs, they will swicth you over to the shrp line. Thats why you are now seeing the 1/2 point difference.

While BEtus has notmade amends for all of thier past misdeeds, this books is very idfferent form the book it was a short itme ago. It is much more porffesional, and payouts are done very quickly. I know players who have won and withdrawn over20k without any problems.

Same owner, same crooks. BetUS has no honor, its simply a business decision for the time being that they can make more money not scamming.

i am curious, how can you play with a book that has stolen from their clients in the past? saying that they are good now, implies they can be bad again. i am asking this honestly and not being an ass, but please help me understand how you can play with known crooks? it it the big bonuses offered? is there some other reason? if you ever get lucky, or win large amounts, do you beleive they will pay you like cris, pinnalce, olympic, heritage, etc... if you have any doubts, why play with them at all?

I would personally like to see a sworn declaration from ANYONE who has

This is a true story. About 15 months ago I was betting with Betus/Omni and doing very well. I got my balance up to 100 G or more. I had 60 G in my account and put in a 6 team teaser for 7 G. This was an open teaser. I asked up front how long I had to fill it and Robert Eddy told me that I had till the end of the football season. I was putting in like 1 team a week. I had two winners filled with 4 open spots. This is where it gets crazy. I am rushed to the hospital with a freak heart infection. The same thing Mike Martz had. Its called Endocroditus. I think I spelled it wrong. I have open heart surgery and wake up a week later. I was out of it and my friend reminded me about the bet. I was not in the mood to call in yet but after about 2 weeks I called in and everything was cool. They verified that I had 60 G or so and the 6 team teaser with 4 spots left. Knowing that I had like a 20% chance of living, I called Robert Eddy and asked how I could make sure that if I didnt survive my fiance could get the money. Robert told me to send in a letter and sign it. I did this and had my fiance call in after she sent it in to make sure they got what they needed. They told her everything was set. Betus told me that my fiance would be an authorized user. Basically she was going to be on the account just like me. No problem I said. When I pulled out of it and went home I called in and asked a clerk if there was another person on the account. I expected him to say that my fiance was on it. He said no and I asked to speak to Robert Eddy the manager. I asked Robert what the hell was going on. Why isnt my fiance on my account? Robert says that I forgot to sign the letter. I of course ask Robert why he told my fiance everything was fine. Why didnt you call her and tell her? I checked the letter and it was signed. I told Robert this and he said that my signature looked like scribble. Thats my signature Robert.Thats a little different then not signing it Robert. Robert you know thats my signature because you have a copy of my D.L. Robert was speechless. Betus was caught. They had no intention of paying my balance to my fiance. They had it all planned in case of my death. I feel comfortable saying that Betus/Omni was hoping that I died.
After all this I finished my teaser. They rushed me through it. After telling me that I had till the end of the season, I was now being told that I had one week to fill the spots. Betus knew I was done there and they were pulling out all the stops. After I hit the teaser for 49 G, Betus decided to take back my 7800 bonus. I had rolled over my money like 50 times. Betus decided that the bonuses were for people who needed them and I didnt need it. Betus/Omni is a scam book. To the guy who said "They paid 2 grand", dont be a sucker. Betus/Omni will always pay the small winner. Just as Royal does. These scam books will always pay the known forum user as well. There are way too many good books out there to take a chance with these known crooks.

Of course BetUS was all set to scam you out of your 60k. They are crooks. BetUS steals your $7800 bonus money after you fulfill your rollover requirement. Thats par for the course with them, just ask the poster MFG, they stole his bonus money too.
