OT:file sharing question

i love music and im constantly downloading from limewire.com. its better than kazaa i think. today a guy told me about a site based in the UK and had the word emu in it. does this ring a bell with anyone? i was told you could get movies like king kong that just came out from this site. its not regulated apperently.if you have a better suggestion id appreciate it greatly.:howdy:

I think that pretty much everything that there is to be found is on BearShare.

TTinCO, just checked out the site...I'm assuming the free, "sponsored" version is full of spyware and crap, right?

Not bad, but yeah-I'm sure some crap is tied to it. Just run AdAware or SpySweeper after you install it.

The best place I've found for movies, music (full CDs), e-books, audio books, software, etc is Demonoid.com

You also have to get BitTorrent software like Azureus which you can get free here http://sourceforge.net/projects/azureus

You need an invite to join Demonoid so here is one: l3Up9QX1Ys

May only work for the first one who grabs it.

Bittorrent is great, but you need a pretty updated PC. Plenty of memory and a nice processor (CPU).

Yes, download the songs on your harddrive and listen to them via your choice of Mp3 Player. Software is available where you can also convert from Mp3 to CD Audio and play it in your car, etc.

Probably a stupid question but I am new to this download and mp3 stuff.

I just bought an Ipod and think I need to go through itunes to get songs on ipod. I know I can get songs off cd or purchase songs to itunes. Here is the question?

Is it easy to get songs from limewire to itunes?

Very true - my PC is only 4 years young with XP and runs BT great. 8 year old PC's probably won't handle it. I just recently downloaded DVD screener versions of Syriana, Jarhead and Brokeback Mountain (Glaken highly recommends :103631605

Hello, I only uploaded Bearshare because it was in this topic, but I would recommend Limewire. The search in Limewire is much better.
