Bizarre story from one of our local sportscasters...arrested for

Keith Mills, who has been a local sports guy here in Md for over 20 years (WMAR TV), was arrested yesterday for burglary, it turns out he burglarized his neighbor's house several times over the past few months....

His neighbor who has cancer had been told by other neighbor's Mills was going in and out of her house, as it turns out allegedly Mills was stealing her pain medication, he would steal part of the bottle then put it back, before she returned home.

Finally the neighbor informed police who set up surveilance cameras and nabbed him yesterday...Mills admitted he had taken the pills on more than one occasion.

Stunning , sad and bizarre..Mills who grew up in Balto. faces up to 43 years for this crime....43 years!??

Chalk up another opiate\pain pill junkie. I had a little problem with them after having disc surgery about 15 yrs ago. It's really easy to get hooked on them, and it's subtle enough that you don't really feel like you're hooked, but there's no doubt about it at all--they can own you.

As it turns out, he had been in trouble before for this pain killer stuff, he forged someone's signature to get his hands on the drugs...pretty sad.

We have a local news reporter who kept his job after getting popped buying X outside a Phish show.

Smart, real smart......

How can anyone ask a supposed child over the internet for sex? And then do it again....He should shoot himself, not sure if he's more of an idiot or a freak.

There must be something genetically screwed with the baby rapers.

Once again this proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that there are ALL kinds of NUTS out there today an most revolve around drugs!

Christopher Lance Cobb, a 32-year-old reporter at KHWB TV 39, was one of those arrested in March. The other suspects are Dr. Craig Wilkinson, a 43-year-old orthodontist; Brian Corbitt, 31; and Michael Corrigan, 34, an ex-con from The Woodlands who served time for drugs and stealing a computer. All four are charged with felony sexual assault of a child.
In a follow-up investigation, the Troubleshooters found Cobb on the Internet again, and because of the discovery, the judge took action against all four suspects and their computers.
Cobb admitted in court last week that he violated the terms of his bail. When he was arrested, Cobb agreed to not enter chat rooms or visit Web sites that are sexually suggestive.
The Troubleshooters found Cobb doing both on a chat site. Along with displaying his picture and mentioning romance, Cobb talked about chatting with a number of young females.

The Local 2 Troubleshooters found that Cobb had posted his profile and picture online after his arrest, which violated conditions of his bail.

When Local 2 contacted Fort Bend County prosecutors for comment, probation officials searched Cobb's computer and their findings are listed in a court record. They said they found he had chatted with females about having sex and he admitted that "he could not be certain that they were all over the age of 18."
Officials also found he had received nude pictures from one of the females.
The judge increased his bond to $100,000, which Cobb has not posted.

Bill Kamal a big time weather man down here in the South Florida area for Channel 7 was also arrested within the past few years for trying to pick up an underage BOY over the internet. He went to a place to try and meet him and he was arrested. Nice one! :smoking:
