I'm coming out there for the SB, and I usually get comped at Sam's Town. This year when I called, the host said they were full and could only get me a room at regular rates. I checked other hotels, and they all seem to be going for around $200 a night or more. I also checked with Sunset Station, and all they could give me were three free nights for Mon-Tues-Wed. I can get one night for $45 at Arizona Charlies East which isn't bad considering other hotels are still charging a premium rate even though the Super Bowl is over on Sunday!
So what gives? Is the town that sold out even though we're seeing a Seahawks-Steeler SB? Anyone think that maybe some reservations with be cancelled because of the teams, or is it just an "EVENT" where people will show up anyway!
